February 1999: The month I went to my first rave, and the exact same month of the founding of DanceSafe, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to keeping partygoers safe and healthy. A year and a half later, I signed up for a training while visiting DanceSafe's booth at a party in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. And the rest is history... Please wait for all the images to load.

The annual Ultra Music Festival in downtown Miami - spring break, March 25, 2006

Our busy booth at the festival!!! Florida kids are really nice and generous. We received a lot of donation$
that day. I guess it must be the sunny weather that puts everyone in such a sweet & giving mood.
Francine, one of our Florida volunteers, posed with the guy selling water to let the whole world know
how expensive it was to stay hydrated at this festival. Francine's husband, DJ Exotic E (far right),
battled DJ Craze (center) during the early 1990's before Craze moved on to win the World DMC
Championships three years in a row. Thanx Francine and Erik for introducing me to Craze!!!
